SketchUp Wiki

Wiki
Welcome to SketchUp Wiki. We are a free, editable site about the SketchUp application that anyone can edit. Feel free to add something that's not on here. You can use the forums to discuss something, or if you want a tutorial our help pages are just the thing. Users can also upload their models here, an alternative way to the 3D Warehouse as they don't need Google accounts, however it will only work to users who have that version or later installed. We reccomend when a new version comes out you upgrade to it. For example, click here to download a sandy beach, made by Gourleyo.

Currently there are no active admins however we are hoping to be getting a couple soon. Mjduniverse hopes to become the next admin. Until then the users will have to run the wiki. How about you create an article, if you can think of something to write about related to SketchUp.

Featured Article - Materials (More)

In SketchUp, models would seem dull without some art. This is why you can select Materials. You can do this by clicking on the Bucket button. When you click this it opens up a sub-application called Materials. From here Default is selected by default but you can select a category and then after that get started. Each category (except the colors one) has around 10 materials in. You can also add your own material by clicking on the AddMaterial button. This lets you upload a texture image or create whatever color you like.
