The Select tool is the simplest of all the SketchUp tools.
Using Select[]
To use Select to select an entity, just click the item. To select more than one entity, hold down Shift while selecting. To select everything that is inside a certain view, drag Select across the modeling window from left to right, forming a rectangle. Release Select, and everything inside the box will be selected, and the box will disappear. Make a box from right to left to select everything that is in or touches the box. To select everything, press Ctrl-A.
